Beginner / exploratory level
Aimed at students consolidating technical and musical fundamentals: posture, mechanism (basic scales and arpeggios), sight-reading, and elementary-level pieces. Ideal for those beginning or returning to the instrument and for students who wish to sit initial exams or Grades 1–2 (ABRSM/Trinity or equivalent). Sessions can be entirely free-repertoire (with a focus on style and basic musicality) or exam-focused (selection of syllabus pieces, exercises, and a requirements checklist).
What to expect :
Technique: basic scales and exercises.
Repertoire: short, varied pieces (Lists A/B/C according to the exam if required).
Competency goal: master GradeInitial, 1, 2 repertoire, develop rhythmic independence and basic control.
Free roaming: just learn how to play in a fun and safe way.
Beyond the player:
For those looking something beyond playing an instrument. If you are interested in basic musical theory (tonal funtional harmony), how pieces are structured (form) or the basics steps inside of a production (basic mixing) this level is the appropiate one.
