Limitations and Biases in Access to Music Education

The non-economic barriers restricting access to music education globally is a topic highly disregarded. Drawing on personal experiences in Bahrain and specific case studies from India and Eastern Europe, this post argues that cultural stigmas, social stratification, false meritocracy and rigid political legacies create systemic exclusion.
